Something about this photo is throwing me off. Wait – don’t tell me. The photographer’s sweater? Ohhhh, right. The old dude standing on a cross wearing a huge diaper that “Jesus would’ve worn” with ketchup smeared all over his torso.
I need to know where this picture was taken and whether the guy works EVERY Saturday and Sunday, or if it’s just a Jesus-for-hire kind of thing. If it’s every weekend, I think I see a road trip in my future.

The story is that this was a final rehearsal for a Life of Jesus play taking place in a park in Glasgow (May 2008). The bloke on the cross was playing one of the thieves crucified beside Jesus and just as Jesus and the rest of the actors were making their way towards this scene the bride, groom and photographer appeared from nowhere and decided this would make a great picture?!

The actor does seem amused and doesn’t mind being in the picture, but seriously, the bride and groom though it’d make a great picture?! WTF?
