So there’s a K-Fed and Britney in Munchkinland, too? Looks like the back-up dancers bridesmaids are donning some “dresses” from 2005′s The Onyx Hotel Tour. Klassy!

Southern wedding if I ever saw one, how much you wanna bet they’re siblings too?

    • Meela says:

Actually, last time I saw this… monstrosity. I do believe it was mentioned that it was in Northern Ireland. They are quite known for tacky over-done weddings. (Not meant to offend the irish, I’m from Scotland myself… Ours are not much better on occasion.)

      • Shamona says:

        Look at first Holy Communions.
        They’re SO overdone!
        Basically like a mini wedding.

So glad I never had one =D

    • Mo says:

      How did you figure that?

  2. It’s like a tangerine nightmare covered in white polyester organza vomit.

  3. lizzeh says:

That poor flowergirl looks like one of those Barbie cakes. Tiny doll stuck in the middle of a huge mound of puffy, over-frosted cake. That dress probably weighs more than she does.

Brilliant! I couldn’t have said it better myself.

    Tangerine? WHY??

  6. Kealapono says:

Southern wedding my butt. That is a Jersey wedding if I ever saw one.

    • min says:

Hopefully, I am getting married in the REAL Jersey (not the ‘New’ Jersey) in a few weeks. No bridesmaids, no orange, and no net curtains.

    @Bridezilla

    Defo traveller wedding.

Hope this website doesn’t just turn into another traveller wedding-bashing forum.

    BLECH!

  9. Zarlana says:

Isn’t this a picture from the wedding of that little girl who was dying of cancer and her last wish was to get married?

  10. Pam says:

i dont think the intent here is to bash traveler weddings, or any other one kind of wedding specifically – just all weddings that seem funny, whether they are real or not.
also, i think by “traveler” you mean “roma,” and if thats they case, few people in the US would recognize that when they see it. seriously, it looks like something that could have happened in Jersey or Texas.

    • Danae?! says:

No, trust me, they mean Traveller. As in the Irish version of “gypsies”/Roma. Also called tinkers, travellers are known for waaaaay overdone weddings, kinda like County Corck girls are known for getting into more fights than their men.

  11. [...] OK… This site isn’t only about making fun of New Jersey. The truth is, this woman reminds me of an old roommate I had who was totally [...]

  12. Mandyque says:

The little girl looks like one of those dolls with the dress that you hide toilet paper under

  13. Toxic says:

You think the flower girl’s dress is big? You should see the bride! It is, in fact, an Irish travellers wedding. I looked up the other wedding pictures online. They are…something else.

  14. LydiaM says:

I’m concerned that that’s not the flower girl, that it’s actually the bride and that’s the groom standing next to her.

  15. SJ says:

It’s a wedding from Essex in the UK and the mini bride and groom were just bridesmaid and page the bride and groom were a whole lot worse. Worst of all though was the bride’s mother who also appeared to be wearing a wedding dress. They had the reception in the smallest back garden youve ever seen with personalised label sparkling wine…………

  16. [...] you know they made them in miniature sizes? She must be the youngest Bridezilla ever! I’ve seen her before, and she and her “man” still remind me of Britney and K-Fed. I think it’s his [...]

  18. Holly says:

wow a traveller that can write AND use a computer? i thought all u girls left school at 9, married at 14 and got ur very own caravan, have loads of kids and remained completely illiterate (least thats what ive seen of EVERY traveller bride)…….and its just a guess, but the reason travellers, jippos, or whatever u wna call urselves have the money to have these disgustingly trashy weddings, is because you dont pay taxes or any other sort of bills, ur wheeler dealers, thieves etc etc……if we all lived like that then we could all afford to have our ‘big day’ just like that….reality is, you can have all the money in the world…..clearly it will NEVER buy you class….

  19. omg ye lok lovely lov da colar xoxoxoxoxo

  20. you would no all about class wouldnt ya holly….
    jelousy gets ya no were!!!!!
AND WAT HAS IT GOT TO DO WIT U IF WE HAVE THAT KINA MONEY??????
ITS YOUR PEOPLE THATS STUPID ENUF TO GIVE IT TO US

  21. Holly says:

    @gypsy bad gal
hmmmm, no, i dont think im jealous sweetie, maybe you need to find a dictionary and actually look at what jealousy really means……but assuming it will be too hard for you, ill explain here….it means you have bad feelings towards someone that has something you want…….they have nothing i want, so i have nothing to be jealous of! and ive never given my money to a jippo, and never will, ur whole lives revolve around ripping ppl off so why on earth would i financially help any of you? lol….you cant deny that my comment isnt true so i dont see why ur getting so upset, its just a well known fact…if it bothers you, get a different lifestyle

  22. Keri says:

Oh how I do love a good Traveller wedding…

  23. MommyWoman says:

She looks just like the doll-in-a-giant-skirt thing my Great-Grandmother used to cover up the spare roll of toilet paper…

  29. im an irish traveller and i am disgusted and dissapointed at these comments towards people of my background.so some of us dont stay in school or break the law.but all over the world there are young girls getting pregnant, people raping, killing etc.everyone has a right to live there own lives how they want.we could say what we dislike about you but we dont.we focus on our own lives.basically all you people just seem to be insecure / jealous / not properly informed about us.

    • Ticia says:

It is the last one. Everyone is not properly informed. All we see is, tacky dresses (if it is tradition I do understand but they are still considered tacky by most standards), and over fake tan.

If you would like to inform us on the the ways of “irish travellers” Then please inform us.

    • Kit S. says:

I’ve done quite a bit of research on Irish Travelers and Romany Gypsies (along with that I’ve been watching “my big fat Gypsy wedding/my big fat American gypsy wedding”) though I know TV is not the best place for information, what I saw in these shows made me want to learn more. I was so shocked that people could live like that that I had to see if it was true or just totally made up for the camera. You can prove me wrong or tell me otherwise but from what I have seen and understand, men run everything, can do whatever they want(with whomever they want “Gorgers(maybe corger? something like that) are to have fun with, and Romany girls are for wife’n.”-an American gyspy who also said “I want something new, not something new” oh yea? And what are you dude?) Women have to be watched, not allowed to go anywhere by themselves, is considered shameful for a woman to get a job(because her only role in life is to be a perfect maid to her husband, be a factory for children, all while looking perfect) I’ve also seen a story about a Irish Traveler woman who divorced her husband because he beat her, and in doing so she shamed her family. Her father even called her a “dirty wh0re”. And, if a man says “I had her”, that’s all it takes to shame her for life. I saw a scene where a girl was getting grabbed and her friend(who was with her, obviously cause girls aren’t allowed to be alone in public) just walked away. WTH?
It also boggles my mind to hear that it is SHAMEFUL to stay in school. It is SHAMEFUL to be educated. I’ve also read that girls even more-so are to be taken out so that they don’t/can’t learn about sex.(it’s her husband’s job to teach her on their wedding night) Having high morals is totally fine, but the fact that it (as far as I’ve seen) only applies to the girls. The boys can do whatever they feel like. Not to mention they get married SO young when they’ve only known the boy for a few months if they’re lucky.(I’ve heard of a few who get married after meeting that person only two times before) This amazes me. The only thing I have against the culture of this group of people is how women are oppressed, men can do whatever they want and it is considered shameful to learn. From what I’ve seen, the “culture” seems more like a cult. Feel free to tell me otherwise, but this is just what I’ve learned in my research.(and I’m pretty sure I’m anything but “insecure, jealous or badly informed.)
