Did this woman hire a killer magician to make her wedding dress at the rehearsal dinner? That actually sounds like an entertaining evening. I’m guessing she asked him to make her reception dress easy-access…

I desperately want to pop the ugly out of this dress. Someone hand me a pair of scissors.

Copy & paste this:

I think these are for weddings held on pontoon boats, so that if there is an accident, the bridal party can just float to safety without an ugly, distracting life vest.
Honey, what is that squeaking? Sounds like a balloon……There is goes again! Where is that coming from?
*giggles*
I think the first one is brilliant, if it hadnt been a wedding dress. the green one makes my eyes bleed.
Two questions:
1. What happens when she wants to sit down?
2. Can we TALK about the creepy-tiny legs on that woman?!?!?
I read your comment, and then scrolled up. I didn’t notice it when I first looked at the picture, but….. Um…. THEY’RE LIKE THE SIZE OF HER ARMS! Go eat a burger or something! GOSH!
The first one is very impressive. From a distance it would look just like a normal dress. AND IT DOESN’T EVEN MAKE HER LOOK FAT.
The groom should be careful, even the tiniest ‘prick’ could pop that dress. Giggity!
The good: An interesting idea, although not entirely functional. The rainbow part looks really nice though.
The bad: The white one looks like it’s made out of tampons.
The ugly: The green one. Period.
no pun intended i’m sure… lol!
This isn’t really a wedding dress. The guy who did it does all sorts of dresses, and he just wanted to experiment with white balloons.
Now, there’s a wedding dress idea I hadn’t thought of.
The first one is made out of condoms I believe.
I actually saw the whole series of these dresses, and they were amazing. Granted, not all to my taste (green, UGH!), but having once learned to twist balloons, it’s not as easy as it looks to make them as uniform and well done as these are.It also takes a lot of talent and imagination to come up with something unique as these were part of a fashion show. Check out the link:
Actually, I’ve seen these before (and the rest of the entries), and they were not for a wedding–it was a huge contest where career balloon-twisters had to make fashionable gowns. The results were pretty spectacular…and very short-lived!
This is actually really amazing. I can’t help but wonder how she actually got into the dress. Unless it was made around her?
I’LL TAKE IT!! I WANT IT FOR MY OWN WEDDING! IT RULES!!!
@Lyndsey Catastrophe
I also was impressed, with both dresses.
@Yuan Chengzhi
Yeah, thank god there’s nothing ugly.
It would have been REALLY spectacular if they had filled them with helium.
Pretty sure these were created for some sort of wearable art and not practical use.
So, think she got “popped” on the honeymoon? Oh, come on, someone had to say it.
Btw… I think we pretty much figured out their not real dresses, only an idiot… oh, nevermind.
All I hear is *squeak*squeak*squeak*squeak*
i like this dress dispite what everone says about it squeaking… its pretty freakin awesome if you ask me
This was not for a wedding. This was for a fashon balloon convention in Japan!
Ummmm I’m speechless. I make balloon figures, but nothing like this! Very clever. I like the idea of using helium. I wonder what it pays to be career balloon twister?
That first dress is 10 kinds of awesome. Whoever made it has got to have a helluva lot of ranks in Craft (balloon animal)…
D20 system FTW!!
Is it just me or is that first dress inspired by the dress Queen Amidala wears at the end of Episode 1?
This isn’t a wedding; just some program about an artist wanting to design stuff with balloons
i just luv it
@Mary
No Mary #4 we cannot TALK about that dear and pretty woman’s legs because she cannot change what she was born with.
Now go and paste a pic of yourself so we can judge it and it better not be from 20 years ago.
asphalt #25: sure looks like it, good call
what if they get tired to stand on… boom boom pow
Looks like one of those crocheted angels Gramma makes and dips into glue to keep it stiff.
(hoping that if I pretend hard enough not to like it, I’ll stop liking it)
@geekers
D&D reference for the win!
I have to say that I love that first one… Does anyone have a link to the arts show this was a part of?
My fear of balloons is stopping me loving that dress.
Uau, se poate si astfel de rochii ! Foarte interesant
Buna ziua, Woo! Is your post in Romanian?
Ok, I have to admit it is pretty. Love the multi-color veil thing. But more for a kids birthday(can you imagine that? Awsome!) But for a wedding? Not so much. At all.
That does not remotely resemble a veil.
I kindda like the top dress
just I wouldn’t wanna wear it. I don’t want a balloon popping right by my ear cause I’ll scream like the girl I am.
and I love how the colors of the back part flow together and it’s not overwhelming.
a few adjustments and i’ll love it 100%
[...] if this is what the cake area looks like, I wonder what the bride’s dress looks like?! Something tells me it’s not your average [...]
Inspiration: Queen Amidala’s parade gown?
the first dress is AMAZING… only problem is balloons terrify me ;~;
K. Need a BB gun…
[...] that her stomach hurts or something. I can’t imagine why she wouldn’t love this well-constructed [...]
yes yes yes the green one sucks!
I gotta admit though I sooo envy that guy for his wedding night.
I would marry her just for the fun undressing this awsome balloon dress!
Now I am frustrated- just another thing I’ll never get to do in my life…
