Deer-ly Beloved

Funny-Wedding-Photo-HunterAndHunted

So this is what a cross between a redneck and a Wall Street douchebag looks like. I always thought “tailored camouflage” was an oxymoron, but I’ve been proven wrong by these cheesedicks. Nice vests! And did you check out the wedding cake?

Funny-Wedding-Photo-Deer-lyBeloved

I don’t know whether to eat it or hang it on the wall. Or do both!

Love the happy “couple” on top of the cake…

  2. Pretty dweeby, sure, but that cake is pretty impressive, whether I want it or not.

  3. Where is the bride? Or…..is she actually there but extremely well hidden?

  4. TDLewis says:

Looks like the big buck is robbing the cradle with the yearling buck. (Surely these hunting nuts know that there are no antlers on a doe.)

  5. I think The Mayor of Bethville suggests the answer to TDLewis. There is no bride. There is no doe. Just three happy hunters standing very close to one another.

  6. Wanderer says:

That cake pic is from Cake Wrecks!!

  7. Bluebonnet says:

    For the love of God!!!

Puhleeeeeze tell me the bride doesn’t have 4 legs and pronghorns coming out of her head and grazes the grasslands for her usual meals.

  8. Bluebonnet says:

    @TDLewis
I was wondering that myself. Then again if she is a Pronghorn antelope….well that’s another story. Or is the cake just simply screaming same sex marriage and a pedophile groom?

  9. vandalfan says:

Deerly Beloved- lady deer have no horns. But I, personally, LOVE the suits.

  10. jesika says:

answer to the ‘where’s the bride’ and ‘why are there two bucks on the cake’ questions… well, i think its pretty obvious. gay hunting wedding.

  11. Redphoenixx says:

That is…..disturbing. I’m dying to know what the bride wore!

  12. Lorie Shewbridge says:

    Just creepy… really creepy!!

Either Treebark or Realtree, but they’re still looking for her to make sure.

  15. Kitty says:

Is this deer-ly beloved, or deer-ly departed?

  16. captanarchy2 says:

submitter == douchebag… this is sick! youre just jealous and wish you could afford a fancy ass house/ custom suit/ camo cake like this guy can.

  17. Clyde says:

That cake looks like it would have more fiber in it than one made with sawdust.

  18. slupine says:

    @The Mayor of Bethville

Considering both deer heads on the cake have antlers, I’m thinking the “bride” is one of the guys in the first picture.

  19. William says:

Lame Lame Lame…I mean who wears that kind of camouflage anyway? And the cake topper obviously not a knowledgeable person about deer AT all. I thought that the internet was all about sharing information and increasing in knowledge and learning…so why can’t some people still prove to be so …utterly stupid?

  20. Mary says:

Isn’t that 2 boys on the cake – a spike and a buck?

  21. kate says:

The sad thing is it looks like they spent a lot of money on a redneck wedding. Strange as it looks, the skill on that cake is amazing! Hmmm…

  22. [...] why are they at the VFW? Definitely should’ve stepped it up and rented the lodge where this guy got hitched. You only get married once! Immigrant Trophy Wife Categories: Fashion is my Passion, White Trash [...]

  23. Chris says:

Whic one of those lucky guys is the blushing bride???

  24. Tiff Hudson says:

Here’s a biology lesson for those who have pointed out that female deer do not possess antlers: While they do not *generally* have antlers, some females do if they possess the correct genetic makeup. If you check game laws, you’ll find the term “antlered deer” where a layman would say “buck”. This is to keep the law from punishing someone who shoots an antlered doe when it’s not doe season.

    • Kay says:

Neat! So I learned something that could be useful around here, lots of live deer leaving prints outside.
      Thanks.
*”antlered deer” she murmurs to self, wandering off thoughtfully*

  25. Suzanna says:

    Shouldn’t that be “deerly be-headed”?

  26. Amy says:

okay, so the “bride and groom” on the top of the cake are both MALE???? Why is that? The doe should NOT have antlers! lol

  27. Mew says:

At least they picked a theme and stuck with it…

  28. Blender202 says:

He will do to the bride/groom what he does to the deer …. mount it/him/her above the fireplace.

  29. Sondrita says:

    horrible….. :( ((((((((((((

  30. CORY LITTLE says:

THIS IS BY FAR THE GREATEST TUXEDO I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE I AM SO GOING TO ROCK ONE AT MY WEDDING

  31. tammy says:

Three men in camo tuxes, three deer heads on the mantle…coincidence? I think not.

  32. thruhiker says:

I like the poses on the guys – Napoleon, relaxed nice-guy groom, and forgettable one term 1800′s president.

  33. Rosa says:

I agree, the 2 antlered deer topper was stupid. But it is possible for a doe to have antlers. It’s rare but it does happen.

  34. LE says:

Uh, just thought I’d throw it out there that one of those heads on the cake has ‘antlers’, and the other has ‘stubs’. That’s just how it goes sometimes with these deer. So yeah, the one with stubs is a matured doe, and the other is a buck.

  37. rottiluv says:

The redneck inside of me is screaming that I WANT THIS CAKE!

And you’re right, BASS PRO NEEDS A WEDDING REGISTRY!

  38. Cygnus says:

This has to be an Alaskan wedding….

  39. [...] After staring at this cake for a few minutes in awe (kinda loving the deer’s eyelashes), I think I get it. The groom wanted a cake that perfectly captured who he is: part hunter, part firefighter, part lover. And I think he achieved that pretty well. But I’m wondering: Do they save those animal heads and freeze them for the first anniversary or something? They look a little too friendly to slice up and eat. Or maybe I’m just not redneck enough. I for one love this cake

  42. tongueflap says:

The cake had good flavor, but it was a little doe-y.
