Considering both deer heads on the cake have antlers, I’m thinking the “bride” is one of the guys in the first picture.

Here’s a biology lesson for those who have pointed out that female deer do not possess antlers: While they do not *generally* have antlers, some females do if they possess the correct genetic makeup. If you check game laws, you’ll find the term “antlered deer” where a layman would say “buck”. This is to keep the law from punishing someone who shoots an antlered doe when it’s not doe season.
Neat! So I learned something that could be useful around here, lots of live deer leaving prints outside.

I agree, the 2 antlered deer topper was stupid. But it is possible for a doe to have antlers. It’s rare but it does happen.
Uh, just thought I’d throw it out there that one of those heads on the cake has ‘antlers’, and the other has ‘stubs’. That’s just how it goes sometimes with these deer. So yeah, the one with stubs is a matured doe, and the other is a buck.
