Or he could just be a jerk. One of my brothers, who is straight, often catches the bouquet at weddings just to tick off the women. He thinks it’s funny and laughs at all the ladies standing around yelling at him.
He doesn’t get invited to weddings anymore.

Ummm…so the girl in the white dress who is trying to catch the bouquet is either a) the bride, who is already looking for a second husband or b) the least etiquette-conscious person who doesn’t realize that only the bride gets to wear a white dress…
I think that’s actually some sort of pale purple. Also, isn’t the bride in white thing only if she’s a virgin? Waiting until after marriage for sex doesn’t happen much.

I went to a wedding last saturday where a guy also caught the bouquet. He did say it was for his girlfriend. All the other girls were really upset at him!
I once attended a wedding where a guy caught the bouquet accidentally – a reflex; it bounced off the catcher’s hand and ended up careening toward his head. The look on his face when he realized what he caught was priceless.
I wonder if the catcher here is gay – there’s something odd about his face, almost looks like he’s wearing makeup. Still, props to the photographer for capturing that epic pose!

He could just be metro. Or a member of the band. Straight guys who perform have to wear makeup too. Or he could’ve been drinking punch and it stained his lips.
