Ahh, the SONY Playstation. Timeless and delicious. Also, hellO Kristy Swanson circa Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Nice bangs.

I’m surprised she seems so into the Playstation cake, considering the more romantic options…

Awww. Mario finally marries the Princess! FTW! This cake totally rules.
It’s hard to beat, UNLESS you grew up playing with Legos.

Whoa. Please tell me this entire thing is edible. As a little girl, it never occurred to me that I could merge my love of Legos with my wedding fantasies. Now that I know what’s possible, I’m ready to break out a fork and knife. All of the Lego men are even wearing chefs hats. Awesome!

Oh my God. I want the first cake so bad.
That is my dream wedding cake.
It must be terrible being upstaged by your cake on your wedding day. Imagine knowing that on the happiest day of your life baked goods attracted more interest than you did.
The lego cake was feutered on cake wrecks (They show some great cakes there in addition to the fail.) If I remember correctly (wich I’m 99,9 % sure I am) the entire cake is indeed edible. Even the little lego men.
Wow you cannot spell!
The only word she mis-spelled was featured. Grammar could be a bit better, but honestly, that’s not the worst I’ve seen by far
*which
The Grammer Poilce say you All Sock.
i wish i had a facebook just so i could make a group about how annoying people are who correct everyone on the internet. if you can still read it then get a life.
I think it has more to do with the fact that if people are spending/wasting time on the internet, they obviously don’t have a life and didn’t pass English in school. I must admit, I am one of those people who corrects improper spelling and grammar, only because tlkn lyk dis is RETARDED. That is all.
Already saw the Mario and Lego cakes on Cake Wrecks’ Sunday Sweets editions.

It’s better than having a hideous wedding cake that tarnishes your memories for the rest of your life.
You should really link to Cake Wreaks for this post. The last two pictures definitely featured on the Sunday Sweets days.
You know, when you get married, it really IS time to grow up!!
NEVER!
Life is about having fun and doing the things you love – these cakes are just proof that you can have your cake and eat it too!
Yeppers
OMG, I freaking love that Mario cake!!! I’ve loved Mario from his first game (longer ago than I care to admit – lol!), and my kids are playing New Super Mario Brothers on the Wii as we speak. <3
I love the lego cake! So cute. But If I was going for a console I’d have to pick either super nintendo or N64. Those are both better than playstation one.
Although people might keep blowing in your cake all night….
Why does it look like toilet paper rolls on the lego cake?
The cake is being covered in layers of fondant, which are on rolls. See the one on the left side, being raised by a crane and which is in the process of covering the lego foundation?
It does look a little like rolls of tp now that you mention it, but it’s stilll my favorite cake of all time!!
The Mario cake is amazing. The play station one looks more like a birthday cake.
I think there’s a Lego steam-roller inside the cake and all we can see is the roller. Look at the other trucks on the table around the cake.
The groom in the first picture has a Ted Bundy smirk going on, and it’s freaking me out.
OMG im loving the Mario cake!!!
Haha. And the Lego – man, im wondering if EVERYTHING on those cakes are edible.. *yum!
Yeah, those cakes were published on Cake Wrecks, and baker credit was given. You should give credit too. ._.
Thanks for pointing this out! Credit and links have been posted for the second two, and if anyone knows where the first one came from we would be more than happy to give baker credit there as well.
wow,
Those wonderful cakes make me want to get married
The first one is probably the groom’s cake. It’s supposed to reflect a favorite hobby or something he likes.
Cool idea if you ask me.
Hmm…maybe my fiancee and I should do a Dreamcast cake. It’s his favorite console, and the anniversary of our first date (which will also be our wedding day) is Sept 9, the same day the Dreamcast was released in North America (I swear that was not planned, even though we’re both huge gamer nerds)
Oh. my. word.
–Gods investment in you (his son) was so great, he could never abandon you!
