WTF is “traveller British”??? Come on, do me a “British” accent that isn’t Welsh, Scots, English or Northern Irish or any of the other people groups living in Great Britain. So irritating.

uh… big difference between “british” and “traveller british”. people like this give the traveller community a bad reputation with the rest of britian, but they themselves do not feel that way about it – to them it’s just part of their culture.

also, most people don’t “have” to get married either, they do it because they want to.

Sorry, I was informed by my spouse a little while that travelers are not the same as Roma (fka Gypsies); so I take that back. It just seems that they both tend to engage in the lucrative driveway paving business.

The UK Daily Mail article says that she was married at a Catholic church (although looking at the pictures it appears they may have been married in the chapel rather than the main church), but I really have a hard time understanding this. I know individual parishes have some leeway, but does this match these guidelines:

The wedding ceremony is regarded as a very religious event; therefore all participants are expected to dress appropriately. There are no set guidelines for the bridal attire, but there should be some discretion in regard to the selection of clothing

The Daily Mail article also says her dad lives in a caravan and paves driveways for a living (they’re Roma or Travelers, fka Gypsies); I didn’t know it was such a lucrative business!

On the plus side, the women here are wearing a lot more than the women here:
