well, I can’t remember where I heard this from… but somewhere I heard that if a couple doesn’t have a baby in time, the parents watch them do it.

A… double wedding, perhaps? I Mikki’s suggestion sounds the most probable, but the other young woman (not flashing us what the lord gave her) looks more like a bride and less like a bridesmaid.

I’m too lazy to read all the comments, but what I think is going on, is he’s gonna lift her up, oldskool, with her legs over his one arm and his other arm under her back.
I think he’s not really strong, so she’s ‘jumping’ into his arms.

Or maybe it’s just weird.
