So last week I mentioned that getting married during the winter is an all-around bad idea. You can’t serve tropical cocktails, you can’t wear whatever you want, and you can’t jump into a pool in your wedding dress after the reception. OH, AND there might be a legendary crazytime blizzard that prevents you from getting to the actual wedding and ruins your clothes.
So don’t make the same mistake this couple made. Just wait until spring.

Ha, fail.
I got married right around the summer solstice and my guests were frozen solid. My bridesmaids wound up wearing woolen travel blankets round their shoulders and my hubby kept shivering while we were trying to take photos. Even I was a little chilly and I was wearing a heavy velvet gown with long sleeves. I’ve seen warmer days in midwinter. A summer wedding doesn’t necessarily mean a beautiful day.
Guy win…… Looks who’s shoveling the snow. LoL
Duh.
Girl win…look who can see that they’re both shoveling.
Shoveling is bad enough, but I wouldn’t want to do it in a wedding gown! (I actually know someone whose wedding was postponed due to a blizzard.)
Just Buried.
Do you work for the wedding industry? Because the wedding industry just LOOOOOVES spring/summer weddings. If I were to have my wedding in the spring instead, vendors would be charging me an extra $12k. NO THANKS.
