See, this is what I’ve been saying for years: BASS PRO NEEDS A WEDDING REGISTRY. Some people could give a hoot about fancy dishes and expensive bedding. This couple would be perfectly happy with some tackle accessories, GPS units and a couple of reel and rod combos. Give ‘em something to use on their honeymoon, not something that’ll sit in a closet for 20 years!

I work at BPS and you would be amazed how many times we get asked if we have a wedding registry…BTW we don’t and I pray we never do!
BPS is missing business if they don’t. I was in line at BPS behind a newlywed couple who were cashing in a whole pile of BPS gift cards, which they had requested in lieu of traditional wedding gifts…
My fiance actually wants to register at Sportsman’s Warehouse, which does, in fact, have a “bridal” registry.
Whatever floats your bo…’er I mean bass.
My bro-in-law and his wife put mostly camping gear from REI on their register. I remember all the family griping quietly to one another about how they didn’t really want to choose between giving the couple sleeping bags or tent stakes as a wedding gift. Not to mention the two already had a baby on the way, so all that camping stuff they got is still just sitting there doing nothing in the garage.
…I work at Cabela’s (Bass Pro more expensive yet higher quality twin) at customer service. One day, I called another store to do a store to store transfer and majority of the outfitters were unable to answer the phone because someone was getting married at the base of the mountain…seriously…

I’m loving the fact that he managed to find a woods camouflage tie, and she found an entire camouflage wedding gown. Bravo.
