Sheer Awesomeness was inspired by this post, so it’s fitting that this week’s installment celebrates what to get for the couple you love. Unless of course you just want to buy this stuff and keep it for yourself, which I could totally understand.
I’m a little obsessed with finding a whole steampunk-themed wedding. Anyone got anything good? Send it right here. Or just send other submissions that are Sheer Awesomeness, like this!

Put it this way- I would give… a lot for something like this. Too bad no one loves me enough to buy it for me in the first place. :’( Furthermore, no one I know knows what this stuff is nor where to start finding it. I’m surrounded by people who don’t know how to use the internet as a resource.
A gentleman named Dave V. made this as a wedding gift for his wife. This photo previously appeared on the site of the engineer who designed it & kindly posted instructions.

Do a Google search for Steampunk. The Steampunk Computer is one of the first things you’ll hit. You might also try Instructables.com

If you’re in Chicago starting May 22, check out the Chicago History Museum’s weddings exhibition, it includes a steampunk wedding dress (among other dresses from the 19th and 20th centuries)! The exhibition should go for at least a couple of months.
X3 I’m gonna have a Steampunk wedding in August! <3 Shall hopefully remember to send you pics.

I would have LOVED to do a Steampunk themed wedding, but my hubby just isn’t into it.
The picture holder reminds me of tarzan. O-o
You know, I’ve worked at Disneyland too long.
Those silhouettes are from Main Street’s Silhouette Studio. And judging on the style, probably made by Sylvia.
I know because I would sell those frames every day.
