Each week I find myself loving the Sheer Awesomeness posts more and more. These wedding rings are cool for several reasons:
- They’re ‘Bling Without Trying Too Hard’
- They say, “We’re a perfect fit!” while staying kinda masculine
- They are, technically, hardware. Sweet.
None of these other rings even compares.

well it’s obvious that the one on the right is for the woman.
but is that a diamond on the man’s?
And if it is, then why? But either way, one of them can actually say ‘Screw my wedding ring’ and mean it literally.
Why can’t a man have a diamond?
and the priest just said “u r screwed”
Not so obvious it’s for a woman. See Jen’s comment below.
Also, men can luv their diamonds too.
I assumed the diamond one was the womans
With this set, he can give her his nuts, literally as well as figuratively.
Woohoo! Let’s screw!
I thought perhaps they were both for men.
yeaaaaaaah…..my fiance wants these ones now….
Pretty cool….
(DIY Powers Activate!)
I know a couple who have a pair of rings like this. They got them for their commitment ceremony.
These are neat, although if I got a pair like ‘em I’d have a hard time resisting actually trying to screw them together, or else joining them and shouting “WONDER TWIN POWERS ACTIVATE!”
It’s really too bad; I love the concept but I think they just don’t look pleasant to wear. The design looks forced.
They look like you could too easily hurt yourself or someone else.
Impressive to look at, but maybe a little too heavy?
LOL I saw this about an year ago on instructables.com
After they’re married, they won’t have to bother using a “washer.”
Symbolic, practical, and very useful in a fistfight.
Those are naughty!
nice idea
I want there to be some sort of ‘Wonder Twins power: activate’ joke made here, but I can’t figure out what forms they would take….
Those are clever!
Shafts and holes, baby.
Doesn’t it say that the woman now has the ‘penis’, so to speak?

I got a jeweller to fix the gold claddagh from a tiny-dinky claddagh ring on to a silver band as my partner doesn’t like gold but I wanted to make something different.
idea) but with silver or platinum !!
It’s the only prezzie in our 28 yrs together that she really appreciated and still wears it – after 10yrs.
Try to imagine the above rings with the screw and nut (very sexual
the man has the diamond because men carry the “family jewels”
Brass, 24k gold plate, white zircon
Wedding Bands are about commitment. The inherent connotations are a huge part of the piece and, quite often, reveal themselves as a social or sexual comment.
The rings are constructed out of brass then plated in 24k gold. And although the stone is set into the men’s ring, when screwed together, the stone actually sits against the woman’s finger.

I think Ratchet from R&C will use these at his wedding

Form of- Trailer park dwelling mechanic!
[...] A custom wedding band should reflect your true personality. After all, you’re (ideally) going to be wearing it for a very long time. That was the idea behind the above USB wedding ring given to a Microsoft game developer by his decidely non-geeky fiancé. She may not share his passion for tech, but hey, she’s got a sense of humor and a great eye for gold jewelry! [...]
