Beetlegeuse Finally Settles Down

Funny Wedding Photos - Beetlegeuse Finally Settles Down

Submitted by: dunno source via Submit Page

Talk about color-coordinated! This wedding party is even striped socks and phat pants-coordinated. Everyone’s looking their best. Fresh dye jobs, clean moon boots, and black ribbon chokers tied lovingly with a bow. It’s like a Beetlegeuse   and circus-inspired raver-wedding, all rolled into one. Sweet.

  1. RayRay says:

The bride has 20 inch biceps!!

  2. VelmaDinkley says:

Am I the only one who thinks this is actually adorable?

    • krimz says:

I think it’s kind of cute too. Nice being all co-ordinated. It’s their wedding after all, who’s to say they can’t dress like they want to ^___^

      • Fanboy Wife says:

Who could have a bad time at a wedding when the bridesmaids have capes?

        • VelmaDinkley says:

Nobody, that’s who! And they’re so sweet and perfectly-matched, just like somebody left a lot of dolls on the stairs. Yes, that’s what they look like: a really good toy-store display. I kind of want to hug the ladies with their frilly dresses and capes, and the guys look like they might start fighting evil any minute.

    • the raven says:

naw, i think this is pretty damned awesome of them. much more fun than picking out lame and wildly expensive outfits from a bridal place. not to mention that aside from that one little kid (who was probably just tired of having her photo taken), it looks like everyone is honestly having a great time.

    • Crystallia says:

I for one like the outfits of the 2 girls in front, but yes I like it overall.

  3. Emilina says:

    It’s spelt BeetleJuice. . . . way to ruin a good film.

    • Toast says:

Actually they did spell Beetlegeuse correctly, unlike you who can’t even say, “It’s spelled…” “spelt” isn’t a word.
Also it depends if they mean the movie (which I assume) it is spelled Beetlegeuse, but if they mean the stars it is spelled Betelgeuse.

      • Zaza says:

‘spelt’ is a spelling variant of ‘spelled’ and used in British English. ‘Spelt’ is also a type of wheat.

On the topic of Beetlegeuse/Betelgeuse: The star is indeed called Betelgeuse, the picture however is called Beetle Juice, and in the credits the character is called Beetlejuice as well.

      • ..... says:

        Main Entry: 2spelt
        Pronunciation: \ˈspelt\
chiefly British past and past participle of spell

        • Toast says:

And since when did we get to Great Britain? I believe I live in North America, in the United States, where I enjoy using American English as opposed to British English.

          • Emilina says:

That must be nice for you, I’m sure North America is lovely, but British people, such as myself, prefer using British English.
            Also calm down.

            • Toast says:

Oh my gosh? Really? What some smarts you have! I really wish you’d just shut the heck up. “Spelt” is still not a word, I looked it up smarty-pants.

              • Zaza says:

You looked it up smarty-pants? Better look it up in a dictionary next time. ‘spelt’ is the past tense and the past participle of ‘spell’. ‘spelled’ is more common, but ‘spelt’ is not wrong at all, not even if you live in the United States.

              • Emilina says:

What’s your problem? Spelt is a word, as a number of people have shown you, so get over it. It’s really not a big deal. . .

          • Crimson says:

You know, it’s not only Americans who are allowed to use the internet! The Brits are allowed to, as well… Along with Australians and the Japanese, but no one else because that would just be ridiculous.

      • Alex says:

        Whoa a rare doublefail.

    • Grimfairyreaper says:

Oh the joy of internet arguments.

Beetlejuice/ Betelgeuse… Its spelt both ways in the film the latter is on his tombstone

Spelt – both American English and UK English =
      http://www.thefreedictionary.com/spelt

Also try putting it into Microsoft Word it will not show as an error or spelling mistake.

There we go the nice facts solved the issue can we have happy internets time now?

  4. Suna ookami says:

    I actually like this. . . It’s almost lolita.

  5. Toast says:

I went to this wedding. It was really awesome. We had so much fun.

  6. Vicki says:

Nobody’s mentioned the white bondage pants on the grooms. That’s frickin awesome. It’s almost as if they went to Hot Topic when they decided to pick out the wedding party’s outfits.

  7. Zips should never be an accessory. If you are looking for alternative wedding wear ideas though then have a look at http://www.iamstaggered.com/alternative-wedding-wear it also includes mention of the legendary BACON TUXEDO. For realz.

  8. MissMutilator says:

    I love it. a WIN!

  9. Seaseidh says:

The wedding was amazing, there were fire-dancers and belly dancers (of which I was one), and the ceremony was performed by an old martial arts master, and was attended by a few hundred of the bride and grooms closest friends and family.

  10. baphemat says:

this was one of the coolest weddings i have ever had the pleasure and privilege of attending. the whole thing was done with amazing style including fire dancers after wards.

    • vampfiend687 says:

the wedding was beautiful, it was certainly the most interesting wedding i have ever been to. this picture doesn’t really do everything justice to how it actually was. i’m very happy for them

  11. Hellfire says:

I was at the venue where this wedding took place. Sadly I could not attend.

  12. Farkus says:

Anyone else notice that the bride’s daughter (presumably) sitting on her lap seems rather “unenthusiastic” about the entire proceedings? With parents like these, do you blame here?

    • david says:

hey man the kid was tired and she has two wonderful parents that love her very much so back the fuck off

    • Crys says:

Farkus – you’re just a jerk. The little girl on the bride’s lap happens to be my niece, and I have plenty of pictures of her grinning ear to ear at the wedding. She adores both her mom and her new step-dad, so you can just shove it. Seriously, what kid likes to sit still for a zillion pictures? It has nothing to do with my sister, you a-hole.

P.S. Dave, you’re awesome :-) Let ‘em have it, lol! ;-)

  13. Dadio! says:

Was a very cool wedding, I especially liked the dress Trip Pants. More Neo-Gothic Raver than circus, tho. Was held at local SF/F/Gaming Convention, if you think they looked odd you should have seen some of the guests! :-)

  14. Bethany says:

    Dude, this rocks!

  15. david says:

this was a very beautiful wedding I’m the groomsmen in the very front if you all new the bride and groom you would understand. it was at the sci-fi fantasy convention were they met and also the best way for all of there friends and family from out of town to be there. that and they didnt want it to look totally traditional but not to far out there in left field that and i think every one looks very well dressed

  16. joker says:

if only I could persuade my girlfriend to wear something like that I would marry her immediately
this is a cool outfit indeed

  17. Mis says:

Did this happen to take place in MN? The girl in the front on the left looks like someone I once knew. :O

    • Seaseidh says:

It took place in Washington, the grooms family (including both the girls in front) are from Montana. They are a fun and lovely family!!

      • bobzilla says:

        Correction:
The girl in front on the right is the bride’s sister. The one on left is, to my knowledge, not related to either. I know her personally. :)

        • bobzilla says:

          Self-correction:
I was half asleep (and still am) when I wrote this, so ignore me. I thought about it, and you’re right. D’oh!

        • Crys says:

Glad you corrected yourself, bobzilla, because I happen to be the bride’s one and only sister, and I’m not either of the girls up front. Those are the groom’s sisters.
