I don’t know if it’s possible that this couple met anywhere outside a chat room. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I can’t help but wonder in what other capacity they would have met. One of them would have had to be in a seated position, like a bank teller, or a ticketing agent…

The only thing trashy about this is the fact that you put it on here. You should be ashamed of yourself. She looks beautiful, he looks dapper – why should their height matter? I thought this website was more about people having tacky weddings and less about judging people based on their height. How disappointing.

Agreed, nowhere in here does it say trashy. Besides, the bride probably has on some high heels anyway. If you look at the railing, she’s not really THAT tall…It just looks that way compared to the shorter groom.
They do remind me of Kip and Lafawnduh, a tad bit though. Only because of the groom’s expression.

To me it looks like they were trying to get a crazy photo and stood her on the chair because her torso is not long enough for her to be that tall unless she has abnormally long legs
Yeah, there’s definitely something wrong about her. I’m not sure what, exactly, but it doesn’t look natural. Unless she was born male–tall men have longer legs, proportionately, than women.

Are we sure that’s the groom, anyway? Could well be a photo of the bride with her son. Judging from the height of the railing, it’s not that she’s very tall, but that he’s short. Short for an adult, anyway — probably about normal for a 10 year old.

I have some friends–a biracial couple–who are married. The husband is 5’3″ and black, and the wife is 6′ and super white (like red hair and everything). They met in real life… and fell in love. I couldn’t imagine anyone better for either of them. Stranger things have happened.

I’m sorry, but there’s nothing wrong with this. Why is it ‘normal’ if the guy is this much taller than the woman, but not the other way around? I say awesome for them, you shouldn’t determine whom you’re attracted to based on what norms tell you is ‘okay’ or ‘not okay.’
The look on his face is a little goofy though! I actually don’t like professional wedding photos like this. We expect it to be a lovey-dovey looking into each others eyes type thing. I think a nicer picture would have been them sitting so they could look at one another.

She’s likely a little taller than he is, but I think she might be sitting on the railing (no feet showing) which would make her appear much taller. He’s got his arm around her waist, probably to steady her.

I’m a tall gal and I love love love short men. They are so cute and adorable! Most women ignore them, and there are a lot of wonderful gems out there that are really good guys for the taking.
@Sweetness Good to hear that some tall girls see past the height thing – my parents were in that situation – my mother was a lot taller than my father…. and I am also getting married next year to a girl who is noticeably taller than me
