I’m gonna chalk this bouquet toss up to a bouquet loss! Yuk yuk yuk. It took me a second to even LOCATE the damn thing. I’m honestly confused about how she got it up there. Talk about precision.
All brides should put this much effort and elbow grease into the bouquet toss. It makes for a much more interesting tradition! Not to mention a pretty awesome picture. But then again, so did this.

Damn you Ceiling Cat!
Great arm!
Did she throw it straight up? That’s pretty amazing.
I am an attorney and WAAYYY back in the early 1980′s I defended a Country Club in a suit where the bride (a bit tipsy, no doubt) threw her bouquet 17 feet straight up, where it hit the chandelier, dislodging a small glass tumbler shaped piece which fell straight down (also 17 feet) and bounced off her head. Exhibit “!” at the trial was the photographer’s “catch” of the tumbler in mid bounce, the bride looking stunned and a seething mass of single women scrambling for the bouquet. After 5 stitches she was off on the honeymoon cruise. The claim in the case was that the club “negligently positioned” her under the chandelier.
Wedinator would have loved that photo!
lol. really funny , there are no any grooms, lol
That bride is hot.
Now that’s skill!!
Supergirl’s secret identity… BUSTED!
Wuz kot bai ceiling cat.
I did this at my wedding…someone actually climbed up and got it off the ceiling >.< FAIL! Although it was a lower ceiling to be fair… I sat on the ground to toss the 2nd time!
Poor thing. She looks like she’s bawling about it.
I hope she’s just laughing.
Put on your glasses and look again.
I thought my friend who threw it into a ceiling fan while it was on and got the bouquet flung across the room was good. But this is awesome!
Heh, my sister did that–split the bouquet in three chunks before it came down. (She ended up getting divorced 8 years later–hope that’s not a normal omen for such events.)
Crap. Now, by tradition, nobody who was at that wedding can get married until that ceiling does. Anybody got a floor that’s single and of marrying age?
I just see this staying up there as a marriage bomb just waiting to fall on some unsuspecting poor thing.
Ceiling cat will be the nexth marryed?
So stoked this made it to the site! I was just sick of seeing brides do wussy little boquet tosses, so i just chucked it as hard as it could. Of course it landed in the one tiny little missing tile hole. I have never laughed so hard in my entire life. I grabbed one of my bridesmaid’s boquets and tried again, with better results.
As the Maid of Honor from this wedding, I can assure you that the bouquet eventually came down. For awhile the DJ tried throwing things at it, but once he almost made an aerosol can explode we got him to stop. Eventually some men from the church got it down with the assistance of a pole. Because the bride threw my bouquet during her 2nd attempt, I took the ceiling bouquet home. Still not married, btw.
OH! That’s where it went! I’m glad it went to a good home.

Damn, I want a Tshirt cannon for my wedding too. You could nail women hiding in the back of the hall with that thing.

It’s an offering for Ceiling Cat
I was best man at my brother’s wedding. When he tossed the garter, it hit the ceiling, caught on something there, and hung there until we knocked it off with an extended microphone stand. I took the garter, my date had caught the bouquet, and we were married the next year (1983)…still happy and married after 27 years. My brother and his wife are still happy and married also.
