WTF? I really think that either that girl’s nail is stuck to the bride’s dress or she’s sewing a last-minute stitch on the way to the ceremony. Whatever’s happening is defying gravity… or at least my sense of perception. Speaking of perception, the bride’s arms look kinda ripped. No wonder she’s moving so fast. She’s all muscle!

Completely unrelated to anything matrimonial, but I used to work for a doctor who’d lost part of his arm in an accident. He wore a prosthesis that was hook-shaped, but the “hook” part opened and closed to allow him to grasp small objects.
He was nice enough, but over-friendly (in an annoying, not creepy, way) and we tried not to encourage any one-on-one conversations, because he’d never shut up. So one afternoon as I was carrying two enormous, but lightweight, bags of trash down to the building’s dumpster, I rushed past him, saying, “No, no, I’ve got it, it’s fine” as he offered to help me carry them down.
He stayed right behind me, though, so I kept assuring him the bags weren’t heavy, I didn’t need help – until finally I heard him say, “Just WAIT, I’m STUCK!” The “hook” part of his prosthesis had gotten entangled in the folds of the trashbag as he’d tried to grab it, and I’d been unwittingly dragging him down the hallway by his prosthetic arm. Except for the dress, the groom, and the train, I imagine we looked a lot like this picture…
What was probably happening is that the girl in the background was acting as “wind”. Photographers will often have an assistant hold things like veils or flowing skirts, then jump out of the shot so that it looks like the veil or skirt is being windblown. It looks like the photographer just took the shot too early, perhaps on purpose to catch the assistant and show how the trick is done.
Or the bride’s train got caught on a hook on the train behind and that person is running to unhook it before it tears?
Totally acting as “wind” my brother and his chinese wife got married in China and they had this kind of photography done for their wedding photos! It’s unusual, but the result is freaking awesome! This is someone’s “behind the scenes” shot for sure, they never release the unedited photos to show the secret “wind”!
Does anybody else think the bride looks kinda like a dude??
