According to Wired, this proposal was all about romance and euphemisms. The groom, Moviesign, made a custom map and led his bride, furtivepenguin, to an area “where he claimed he’d stashed an energy sword (ed. note !!!) and revealed his proposal, spelled out in weaponry.”
Now if that isn’t the sweetest thing – well, other than this – that I’ve heard all week. I hope they bought matching diamond-encrusted headsets to celebrate.

My best friend walked down the isle to music from Halo. And her minister paperclipped the vows into a gold leaf-embossed copy of the complete Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. I feel like this was the only thing missing from the whole experience

How is it pathetic that they play a game that they enjoy together and he chose this creative way to propose. Obviously she like Halo or wouldn’t have found the proposal in the first place. Negativity isn’t good for your health.
Yeah, it sure is pathetic that he broke the mold, did something creative and memorable, related to their mutual interest, and requiring actual effort.

It’s sweet that the two can share something they both love, and it was awesome of the guy to propose to her in a way that was both meaningful and fun. If a guy proposed to me via video game, I’d be touched. Then I’d pwn his ass.

… i woulent be able to make it like that or be able to keep it sheped right my favorite weapon is the carbine but it never has enough ammo i would propose then ruin it taking the carbines and fireing at anything that moved
