I appreciate hired photographers who embrace those ripe moments (heh) during a wedding. If every picture came out perfectly posed and framed, it would be boring. You gotta have a sense of humor. And sometimes that means faking out the couple and pretending to get a good shot of their cake, which happens to include a giant set of pears, which happen to be sitting right in front of the bride’s chest if taken from a certain angle.
Something tells me this is one of those pictures the bride and groom will laugh about and cherish forever. And hey, if they don’t, at least I will. Who puts two huge pears on top of their wedding cake anyway?

“a perfect pear” (play on pair) is a somewhat common wedding theme actually.
and the pears are probably not THAT big. the top teir is probably only 6″ in diameter meaning those pears are only about 2-21/2 inches in diameter.

i know that’s my whole point. the comment below the picture calls the pears “giant” and “huge” i was just saying they probably are about average size pears.
and the umbrella looks like a huge hat on the grooms head.
