I think that making your dress (or cake) from national flag is disrespectful
Neither the dress nor the cake are made from an ACTUAL American flag…the dress may look like it, but it’s only cloth patterned to look like an American flag.
I don’t think it’s disrespectful to make something look like an American flag, as long as it’s not actually made out of one (ex. Kid Rock’s flag poncho from a few years back).
I think that dress is meant for pageanting – a lot of beauty pageants have a “pro America” round where the robots are programmed to talk about how much they love guns and not having the right to make choices about their own bodies.
Yeah I wondered if anyone else would point that out. Without knowing the brand name, I can’t be certain. It appears to have the brand name on the picture, but I can’t read it clearly enough to try to google it. But yeah, I’m fairly certain that’s not a wedding dress, it’s designed for beauty pageants.
Yeah, I thought that too. I figured out that it actually says “Lady Roi Bridals” so I guess it is a bridal dress :/ I have heard of beauty queens using bridal dresses though but it it still horrible

This dress is technically a Federal Offense.
Who cares? Yes, the dress is ugly, but it’s not a crime. It’s not actually made out of a flag!
Since the definition of the American flag involves 50 white stars on a blue field and 7 red and 6 white stripes this dress doesn’t really count. Our country does not hold a trade mark on white stars on blue fields, nor red and white stripes.
On a side note I got married July 4th, 2008, but I did not theme my wedding around Independence Day. (And yes, I am a citizen of the United States)

to be honest i like the fatter model better from a few posts back, it looks better on her pudgey body then on this slim one.
When I was dress hunting for my wedding over 8 years ago I saw this dress. A woman marrying a soldier was buying it.
