Mini-Projector Wedding Ring Totally Rules

via The Daily Wh.at via Gizmodo

Think your wedding ring kicks ass? Well, I hate to tell you this, but it doesn’t kick as much ass as Luke Jerram’s stanhopes-inspired ring that he custom-designed for his wife with help from a local jeweler. The ring “contains a tiny photographic slide paired with a lens. When illuminated by an equally small light source—Jerram says even a candle will work—the couple will have four adorable images of themselves projected wherever they go.”

Cutest thing you ever did see? I thought so, too. It’s like an old slide projector featuring you and your mate! Awesome.

im soooo hijacking this picture and taking it to a jewler to get an idea on what making something like this would run!

Definitely a “Nerdtastic” wedding ring! I’d love to have one, but I think I’d like a regular wedding ring to go with it too! But that’s the romantic in me who loves shiny glittering gems! lol Or even better, design a ring with gems surrounding the central “projector” lens!!!

  9. Bill says:

Dammit I want that ring. Stupid jeweler said he won’t make any other ring like it.

Nice idea, but I’m pretty sure that one of the basic ideas with wedding rings is that you don’t take them off…
