Mile Long Wedding Gown Train Makes My Brain Bleed

Funny Wedding Photos - Mile Long Wedding Gown Train Makes My Brain Bleed

I hope there’s a handy snap on her dress that allows the train to come off easily, ’cause that looks like the biggest, longest pain in the ass dress EVER. I thought I’d already seen the worst of the worst, but clearly I was wrong. I’m pretty sure there’s enough fabric on this woman’s dress to clothe entire third world countries. I don’t even know how they transported it all to that sunflower field — an 18-wheeler, perhaps? Good luck doing the Electric Slide in that thing.

Star Wars Site Editor Marries R2-D2 at Star Wars Celebration V

Aug. 19, 2010

We’ve seen our fair share of Star Wars themed weddings on the site, but never have we seen the union between human and droid… until now. StarWars.com Editor Bonnie Burton tied the knot with R2-D2 at the Commitment Chapel during Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando. Darth Maul officiated for the couple, who married in front of a large audience of Star Wars fans/romantics and their confused children.

Lord Darth Vader was the best man, R2-KT was the flower girl, Adrianne Curry was the Maid of Honor, Lucasfilm’s Director of Fan Relations Steve Sansweet gave Bonnie away and Elvis Trooper (an Elvis version of the Stormtrooper) was also in attendance. Check out the video here!

Saddest Honeymoon Ever

Funny Wedding Photos - Saddest Honeymoon Ever

OK, so this couple didn’t go to Bali or Paris or Mexico for their honeymoon. They went to Walmart. But maybe they’re just making a pit stop to load up on necessities? You know, condoms, groceries, patio furniture…that kind of stuff. Who KNOWS what they could be doing in there. Whatever it is, I’m sure it’s awesome. Especially if a gift card is involved.

Top 5 Things You Need To Pull Off a Barbie Wedding:

1. Small dog (although the one this bride is holding confuses the hell outta me — am I alone on this?)
2. Fake blond extensions that look like they were purchased at Party City
3. A tiara, obvs
4. Bachelorettes in hot pink dresses who look like they want to kill themselves
5. A Barbie wedding cake that feeds 6, ’cause that makes sense

When You See It… You’ll… Well…

Funny Wedding Photos - When You See It...

Submitted by: Unknown

Oh, the 80s. Bad haircuts and those stirrup-looking pants the chick on the left is wearing truly defined the era. You’d think those faux pas alone would be bad enough for this photo to wind up on the blog….until you notice the poor kid puking up front.

Yikes. Barfing in a family photo is an even bigger unfortunate accident than all of those bad outfits put together. I like his “hands behind the back” approach to staying clean, but it’s not exactly redeeming. Hopefully he’s outgrown the habit by now.

LCD Ring Box Trend: Super Awesome or Meh?

Aug. 17, 2010

funny wedding photos - led ring

Now you can present the love of your life with a gorgeous ring and a multi-media presentation. The Ivy Carat Jewelry box from KJ Global Ltd. has a 2″ color LCD screen in the lid, 128 MB of memory and a USB rechargeable battery with a 1-2 hour life.  The jewelry box can play a sound file or display a .JPG.

At $126, the box doesn’t cost much in terms of money. But in terms of dignity, you might be at a major loss depending on how you use its capabilities. I mean it’s basically like a fancy version of those cheesy cards that were REALLY popular in the mid-90s and allowed you to record messages like “Happy Birthday, Grandpa!”. I wouldn’t necessarily want my ring box compared to that, but hey, at least it’s flashy. Ladies do love the bling.
