Save Money, Live Better. Marry at Wal-Mart

Funny Wedding Photos - Save Money, Live Better. Marry at Wal-Mart

Submitted by: Unknown

Ah, so now we have an explanation for this post — I get it! I love it when things come full circle. I should have thought of it already, considering the rash of retail weddings going around these days.

To that end, don’t think of this couple marrying at Walmart as cheap or redneck; think of them as trendy. They’re ahead of the curve. Not only do they get to recite their vows in their favorite store, but they can get an eye exam, “professional” wedding portraits and a large basket of nachos on the way out. That’s not trashy — it’s just good sense!

The bridesmaid looks like she wants to run screaming from the building.

Admittedly the bride and groom look like people I have seen in the Wal-mart parking lot.

This actually looks like K-Mart rather than Wal-Mart, though I’m not 100% certain. I can’t recall seeing a Wal-Mart with clothes at the wall of the store in a very long time.

WT wedding…….lmao. When I think of places to get married inexpensively, this place STILL has never been nor ever will be an option.

the whole wedding party looks so thrilled to be married at walmart . the bride is looking like she is trying to figure out how far she would get before security asked the couple to see their marriage license then call the cops on them.

… And for all yall that didn’t bring gifts, Leroy needs to change the oil on his ford, see Aisle #28. Also, someone needs to get the moon pies for the reception. And a box of pads.

Clever. That way anyone who “forgot” to bring their wedding gift can just pick one up on the spot, because you know they’re registered there!!

I am the bride in this photo, and this was at the Eugene Walmart on November 200. Short story is that I had been a manager over 3 stores and met my husband try there. We just celebrated 9 years this November. We originally were just going to get married at the courthouse, but somebody joked that since our while lives already revolved around grew store , we might as well get married there. It took on a life of it’s own, but in the end we were surrounded by hundreds of our loved ones, and I don’t regret it. They even surprised us by making us leave the store on Mart Karts that said Just Married !

AUTOCORRECT made me sound like more of an idiot than you all already think I am. Marriage was in 2002, surrounded by our WHOLE family. I think it would be cool if you replublished this now that you know the story. And this infamous picture was a candid shot of my husband accidentally ripping my veil out of my hair on accident :) Oh, my bridesmaid, Angela, I also met while working there.

amen jen.! some people should learn the facts before they say such rude remarks. i personaly know this couple cause i used to be her manager at walmart also. and i couldnt be more proud of you both. great job jen, keep up the great job! love you girl

I posted a picture that gives a better impression of how things were, and hope they post it so people know how things really were. I really shouldn’t feel the need to justify ourselves to mean people on the internet because I know the true story, and we are happier then ever. This year we are renewing our vows in Hawaii on the beach.
