The bride has this to say: “My fantasy wedding: I was a Viking princess, and I was married to a pirate by a crusader knight.” Well, I think there’s a lot to love about this. The setting, the intimacy, the tone of the photo. The only thing is, I’m not a super traditionalist, and I guess I didn’t realize that A) crusader knights have such wide stances, and B) that pirates wear fisherman’s coats. But I guess they do.

I actually like this cake, but let’s face it: an enchanted forest it is not. It’s enchanting, but it’s more of a quaint hill. Still looks delicious. Although I’m not sure which animal is representing the bride and groom. The groom is the wise owl, right? Makes sense. Every little girl wants dreams of being a unicorn on her wedding day.

This picture rules my face. Well, not the sides of my face where my ears are, because it actually made them kind of hurt, but the rest of my face was ruled. It’s the sort of photo that my friends and I would try to set up for fun, but would somehow end up not working out and turn out lame. Yet here it’s unintentionally perfect. You can’t plan pictures like these. They just happen.

I love that this photo was submitted completely without context. Like, maybe it really was a wedding held for two balloons? Seems like a good excuse to throw a party to me. Or maybe the bride and groom are just so insanely awesome that they commissioned these balloon replicas of themselves, which I’m guessing are actually a lot harder to make than they look. I’m a fan of either scenario. I just love their cute drawn-on faces. These balloon people make me happy.

Aww. It’s an Awkward Family Wedding Photo! Tots on the ground, tots on the ground…lookin’ like a fool with your tots on the ground. In the words of the submitter: “This was at my mom and stepdad’s wedding back in 1996. All of us kids (yes, eight of us) were in the wedding, and while taking the official photos, one of my stepsisters fell over, creating a domino effect. I think I’m the only one still looking at the camera.” I like how their older brother is just staring at them sitting on the floor like, “Seriously? You’re just going to sit there? Sounds good.”
PS: I totally would have guessed that this picture was taken pre-’96!
