We were married on April Fool’s Day, and this is our bridal party. The groom is the one in pink. The best man is in purple and is being pushed by my daughter, the flower girl.
Grooms traditionally have such drab attire, kudos to you guys for adding a little color! Also, love the canes, makes them look like Popsicle kingpins.
Four workers (above) at the Yong’an Cemetery in Tianjin China exchanged vows in a cemetery to put extra emphasis on “’till death do us part.” Here’s what one of the ghostly grooms had to say:
“We work here, and we know each other here. The cemetery witnessed our love. Only death could part us,” said Wu Di.
“It’s a natural choice for us, as we work here and love this place. All the ancestors lying underneath are our wedding witnesses.”
A nice celebration of life in a place of death. Interesting!

The Daily Mail brings us a story about two identical twins who share a lot more than just genetic makeup! Caroline Paxton and Elizabeth Cooke were married on the same day in the same church (above), had their first children at the same time, and are both pregnant with their second now. As a twin myself, I spent the better part of my adolescence trying to be different from my doppelgänger, but I really like their showing of sisterhood solidarity!
