So the maid of honor and I negotiated this shot with the photographer via silent gestures and nod, right behind the bride’s back, on-the-spot during the pictures. It was our one goof move, and the MOH has the classic musical theater “stage moment!” look, while I have my maniacal mad-scientist elementary teacher face on. She had no idea until she got the pictures back!
Aahh silent gestures and nodding: The only currencies a photobomber has at their disposal. Besides the element of surprise, of course. Looks like you ladies had a successful negotiation if I’ve ever seen one!

New York Society was all a-twitter about the June 4 marriage between supermarket chain-heiress Andrea Catsimatidis and former John McCain campaign staffer Christopher Cox. Current and former secretaries of state Hillary Clinton and Henry Kissinger were among the guests and even the New York Times featured the union in their wedding column, “Vows.” However, their nuptials are getting attention in the blogopshere for quite a different reason. Namely because Catsimatidis was only 17 when she was first wooed by the then 29-year-old Cox. They met at a McCain event at her high school, where he later was to propose. Now, without me even injecting one CC of my snarkibiotics into this case, I’m in a roly-poly mood lately and would like to hear how you feel about this teenage dream.
