In May a traditional wedding ceremony for about 20 Kyrgyz brides and grooms was held by the government to celebrate the 66th anniversary of Kyrgystan’s victory over the Nazis in World War II. The couples were selected because they could not afford to finance their own. Love the hats!

We met through Dance Dance Revolution, and well… it was always something that connected us. It seemed perfect for the first dance. I also like that is makes a “F” for Fantastic… or Fail!

Being skilled at DDR doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a good dancer just like having a fabulous wedding doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be happily married. But here’s hoping you guys are all that and more, ‘cuz I’m not even good at DDR.

In response to this post. If only all castles held the promise of such deliciousness, I would work up the enthusiasm to storm one once in a while.

My youngest always made a face and said ewww whenever he saw us kissing. I had to play on that for our wedding pictures so the photographer told my boys to make faces while we stood behind them and kissed.
Cooties are a serious medical threat and should not be taken lightly. I applaud your sons for attempting to educate us about the dangers of kissing icky, gross girls.

A True American Hero pops the question to his equally-hyper-American girlfriend in “Captain America” cosplay at Comic Con 2011. Awwww, Amurikkah!

Oh thank goodness it’s only a Daft Punk promo shot and I didn’t just wake up this morning and the Robot Apocalypse already happened. I would hate to miss that. It just doesn’t seem like the kind of thing that would be as interesting in the retelling.
