Taken at St. Bartholomew’s Church in London in 1941. Never let naysayers or Nazis get in the way of true love.

THIS is the celebrity wedding we’ve been waiting for! Photographer Beatrice de Guigne has a creepy doll fetish, has nothing better to do knew it would get her covered on the internets when she did a photo shoot for everyone’s favorite plastic socialites, Barbie and Ken! Hmm, personally, I prefer Ken from the days when his hair was plastic and just sorta painted-on. The ski-jump he’s got going on now is a bit too douchey for me. Also, bring back the tennis short-shorts!

… couldn’t stop this wedding!
The Union Leader:
Come hell or Irene, Kyla Brown was going to marry Bill Luquette on Sunday.
Throughout the week, as forecasts called for tropical storm Irene to reach New Hampshire on their wedding day, the couple refused to change their plans, hoping for the best.
“I knew at the end of the day I was getting married no matter what,” said Brown, whose last name now is Luquette.
But with the storm pummeling New Hampshire, the Windham Fire Department changed their plans for them, cancelling a reception the couple had been planning at Searles Castle in Windham, saying it wouldn’t be safe.
The running joke through the week? Kyla Luquette’s mother’s name is Irene.
“When they cancelled the reception, my name was mud,” Irene Brown said with a laugh.
The wedding party was eventually able to throw together a reception in the church basement. People always say, “congrats you crazy kids,” but I think in this case the “crazy” part especially applies.

Filmmaker Sofia Coppola (“Lost in Translation,” “The Virgin Suicides”) wed Phoenix frontman Thomas Mars on Sunday in a summery dress by Azzedine Alaïa. For those looking for the opposite of last week’s Kim Kardashian wedding circus, Sofia and Thomas were married in a low-key (relatively speaking) ceremony in Italy with about 80 guests.

They say that people are capable of enormous feats of strength under the influence of adrenaline. Under the influence of wedding bliss? Well, not entirely the same, but building blocks beware!

I’m just gonna go out on a limb here but, unless they were stealing extremely tiny-yet-expensive bottles of caviar, $1,000+ worth of food and drinks would be a heckuva lot to try and smuggle out the front door.
