Bride Karen Bell in her own words about why she decided to make her wedding dress for her favorite soccer team, Manchester City:
We wanted to do something different because we have both been married before. It was a labour of love, I was at the sewing machine six nights a week.

Because we met doing stage combat, we decided to have our first “fight” before our first dance. Couldn’t have it any other way.
I imagine meeting during stage combat is full of all kinds of tension. Like “will we accidentally stab each other?” Don’t get me wrong, there’s sexual tension too! I guess this is why worrywarts like me don’t do theater.
Darn chipmunks and squirrels! You’re supposed to be prancing about and singing, not tripping the cameraman!

Or, it would be a nice day for getting married at a medieval-themed burger chain if some guy wasn’t MURDERING the Billy Idol song “White Wedding” in the background. I mean, get married in a fast food joint if that’s your thing, but leave Billy Idol alone!
My parents are 16 inches apart in height, so the photographer made them kneel for their wedding pics.
Or the wedding spirit? I like that the photographer tried to overcome the awkwardness of their height by making them pose in an even more awkward, “waiting for the rapture,” position. I’m sure it gave them something to laugh about over the years though, so it’s not all bad.
Don’t mind the lonely ambulance driver, he’s just going to pass by a few times, lamenting the sweet, sweet despair that is love. His siren is like a sigh that pleads to Venus to release him from the misery of longing for the one that got away. No, really, carry on with your merrymaking.
