“…And My Lovely Bride Will Have the Number One, Please.”

Feb. 11, 2011

Funny Wedding Photos - "...And My Lovely Bride Will Have the Number One, Please."

The submitter says, “I will never understand why people go to McDonald’s on their wedding, let alone why they bring a photographer.” Hey, me neither! I’ve remarked on this quite a bit, but like trans grease in a fryer, it looks like this trend will be sticking around.

Here’s a piece of advice, though, and this is gonna sound REALLY rude (because it is): If you make a pit stop at McDonald’s on your wedding day and bring a photographer with you, try not to pose in such a way where it appears that you have back fat sliding out of your dress. It’s just a bad idea. :( Also, that bridesmaid needs to step off (literally) the bride’s dress!

Musical Theater Geeks Love It. I Do Not.

Feb. 11, 2011

OK, Imma be real with you: I cannot freaking stand the way this bride’s Man of Honor (who is totally adorable, obvs) and their friends say “Amy” over and over and over and over. There’s no question that this is an over-the-top, unbelievable and highly enjoyable wedding toast. I just happen to think it’s ….too musical for me. Unlike this little number, which I loved so much that I watched it like four times. I guess it’s just a “different strokes” thing.

So, love it or hate it? DO TELL!

PS: AMY!

BRIDEZILLA TAKES MANHATTAN!

Feb. 10, 2011

Funny Wedding Photos - BRIDEZILLA TAKES MANHATTAN!

I’m kinda loving this picture. The ginormous bride, the look on her face (“Yeah, that’s right”), not to mention the fact that her groom is either pretending to check his watch, offer his arm up to his bride, or lean up against a fence that is clearly behind him. These two make me happy.

Rainbow Wedding Trend Shining Bright

Feb. 10, 2011

Funny Wedding Photos - Rainbow Wedding Trend Shining Bright

The rainbow trend continues! And in my opinion, it’s much more well-executed than the one we saw before. Here, you’ve got a real sunshine-y feel with the parasols and the bows and the matching fabrics and whatnot….I think I actually like the trend now. Although a couple of those girls may or may not be wearing questionable shoes. Yellow on the end…c’mon, girl, matching yellow shoes? This isn’t a Lucky Charms commercial.

Indecisive Bride Wore Nine Dresses

Feb. 9, 2011

Funny Wedding Photos - Indecisive Bride Wore Nine Dresses

According to the Daily Mail, this bride just couldn’t make up her mind.

The 25-year-old model bought 18 gowns at a cost of more than £20,000. And on the day itself she wore nine of them at different stages, from the ceremony itself to the disco that went on into the early hours.

‘Every time I tried a dress on I just had to have it,’ said the new Mrs Glass at the couple’s home in Guildford, Surrey. ‘But as soon as I took it home and compared it to the other dresses I had already bought, I couldn’t bear to choose.

‘By the end I knew that 18 was too many and I wouldn’t have time to wear them all, so I thought about the different stages of the wedding and decided nine was perfect.’

She added: ‘We’ve decided to renew our vows next summer and I plan to wear ten dresses then. I’m addicted.’

Wowza.

Got Your Back…for Life!

Feb. 8, 2011

Funny Wedding Photos - Got Your Back...for Life!

The submitter says, “My husband photographed a friend’s wedding. The bride and groom met at aikido class, so they did a little bit of light sparring after the ceremony with friends.” Again, I think this is genius and everyone should play some kind of game directly after getting married. Ping pong, sparring, perhaps a little croquet? You won’t regret the exercise.

Old People Photobombs Rule

Feb. 8, 2011

Funny Wedding Photos - Old People Photobombs Rule

The submitter says, “I loved shooting my Grandpa’s wedding. I loved meeting my new family even more. That’s my new uncle, the only person who’s jumping in this picture.” Wow, is your new uncle available for bar and bat mitzvahs, as well or is he more of a full-time crazy wedding guy? Because he looks awesome. His jump style reminds me of Michael Jordan dunking.
