What should have been the celeb wedding of the decade, wasn’t. It’s actually a setup by artist Alison Jackson, who staged a similar fake photoshoot for last year’s royal wedding. Is it just me or is this fake Brangelina wedding a lot more interesting than the prospect of the real one?

Although gay marriage has no official status in Japan, this week Tokyo Disneyland announced it would begin allowing same-sex couples to wed on their property. This decision came after 27-year-old Koyuki Higashi inquired if it would be permitted for her to marry her partner there. This announcement is considered groundbreaking in a country where homosexuality is still a taboo topic. Via The Guardian:
Higashi and her partner have visited Disneyland to break their good news to Mickey Mouse, but have yet to set a date for the wedding. “Mickey first looked surprised to hear that we are a couple of girls,” she said on her blog. “But we said we were there to thank him … and he celebrated with us.”
Disney really does make dreams come true!
