My fiance proposed to me with the Half-Blood Prince, in our town’s library. It’s perfect for me, since Harry Potter is my favorite book series, and whenever we have a few free hours we find ourselves down at the library like the nerds we are. He told me he couldn’t take 100% credit for the idea, as he got it from this website! So I wanted to thank the original submitter for inspiring such a wonderful proposal :)

    Tunnel of Drama

    I read an interesting article over at The New York Observer chastising this improv group for throwing a fake wedding in a crowded NYC subway, culminating in a staged fight. The Observer is upset over the fact that it potentially interrupted people’s commutes, and in the end just isn’t very funny.

    What do you guys think? Great comedy stunt or big unfunny obstruction?

    Matt Smith, who shares his name with actor Matt Smith who portrays The Eleventh Doctor, proposed to his girlfriend Stacie-Anne Dilkes at The Doctor Who Experience exhibit in London. Matt even donned some Doctor-duds! And that other, more famous guy with his same name? He had nice things to say for them!

    Matt Smith proposing to his girlfriend! Firstly, being a Smith means phone calls to the bank take so much longer – there are so many Smiths!! But I bet none of them have proposed at the Doctor Who Experience! Amy and Rory would be proud. Next – babies in the TARDIS…? Congratulations to you both and many years of happiness. Love, Matt.

    When my great-grandmother got married, her husband’s father had just passed and they wore mourning clothes to the wedding. Per family legend, the bride snagged a bright red feather from someone else’s hat and defiantly put it on right before the photo was taken!

    Sassy great grandmas are the reason us wiminz vote and run for office in these modern times. Thanks!
