The Garbage Pail Kids were responsible for a lot of my nightmares as a very small child. That being said, bravo for both having a totally-’80s nostalgia save the date card and for reawakening my childhood trauma. Both are equally easy to accomplish but usually not at the same time.

That little girl in the bottom left hand is totally pulling a Success Kid. Or maybe she’s ready to run away, if only Jesus wasn’t looking straight at her! Also love the mom (?) on the right hand side with that vague, blank, “what happened here?” stare. Mr. Swagger right above her don’t care! He owns this and every picture he’s in. Happy wedding!

We decided to do a Labyrinth (think David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly) because we both loved the movie. Our outfits were custom made from the ballroom scene! I wanted to be as authentic as possible, so I had the hairpiece made, we had masks, my niece carried a white owl, and we even had a castle cake with a labyrinth around it!!! It was amazing! We have many more pics if anyone is really in to themed weddings! =)
This.is.amazing. I like how the Goblin King is sporting a little facial hair. Hope that poofy dress is easier to negotiate when dance-magic-dancing in real life than it looks in the movie!
