I like this. It’s like they’re getting the crime and punishment out of the way before it even happens. Such a realistic interpretation of marriage! Colonial Americans had the right ideas about such things. Break the moral code and suffer the consequences!

First, we will read aloud some poetry dedicated to this momentous occasion. Then we’ll have a special flautist whom we had flown in from Russia do a rendition of our favorite song, which harkens back to traditional Russian literature and children’s faery tales.
Finally, we’ll open up the performance to include our wonderful guests, requesting that each of our friends and relatives interpret their favorite oral narrative for us. You may come and stand before us to perform your folktales, after which we will lightly clap so that the bride’s wings and the groom’s hair style do not become loose.

I won’t pretend to understand what’s happening in this picture. I have NO idea, and from the looks of it, the groom doesn’t either. Are they getting married in a highly toxic chemical plant? Did their wedding get crashed by a guerilla marketing team promoting a plastic bag brand? Or um…wait a second. Why is the groom’s shirt untucked and what is that thing around his waist? Are his pants undone? Does the top of the bride’s dress have absolutely nothing to do with her skirt? I’m getting more and more confused.

What I’m about to say is not very nice. In fact, if I wasn’t Jewish and Santa was reading this, I would probably receive a giant bag of coal come Christmas. But here goes: I don’t know if the theme of this wedding really is the Renaissance Faire, but what I DO know is that these ladies (yes…all four of them) are awkward. And those dresses are awkward. And there is a good chance that ANY bridesmaid dress would look awkward on them, whether it was another color, another style, another fabric….you get the idea. Maybe it’s just the overall look and setting of the photo, but something seems off to me here. And the flowers aren’t helping.

I can’t really tell what is going on in this picture. Is the dude wasted and preparing some kind of toasting ritual? He looks like he’s about to say a bunch of stuff that doesn’t make any sense. The bride’s even got that look like, “Gee, cousin Daniel, wasted again. SHOCKER.” I only hope someone recorded it.

He’s not naked, right? RIGHT???? Please tell me the random pantsless guy photobombing this wedding picture is not going commando on a horse statue in a fountain. That would be very wrong. I’ve already seen way more of his leg than I feel comfortable with, and I simply refuse to believe that his junk is anywhere near that statue.
Other than that little detail, this picture is hilarious!

Yay! You’re married! Time to cast yourself and your partner out of society and become the loneliest people alive! Spend time in empty parking decks, hang out in abandoned warehouses… you know, the fun stuff.
Seriously, though — this picture is eerie, right? The groomsman on the end even looks kind of ghostly. Plus, I tend to associate parking decks with going to the dentist, not “true love.” I wonder if they had the reception there, too?!
