This picture rules my face. Well, not the sides of my face where my ears are, because it actually made them kind of hurt, but the rest of my face was ruled. It’s the sort of photo that my friends and I would try to set up for fun, but would somehow end up not working out and turn out lame. Yet here it’s unintentionally perfect. You can’t plan pictures like these. They just happen.

Where are their baskets for Grandmother? And why didn’t the bride just put the bridesmaids in Snuggies and call it a day? Those semi-sheer capes can’t be nearly as comfortable. Also, the groomsmen remind me of these guys, except minus the swords. #FAIL.

You know who I’m jealous of? The maid of honor. She gets to wear camo with orange accents instead of the other way around. LUCKY!!! Unless of course she accidentally put her dress on inside out, which is entirely possible.
What worries me, if I may sound like Tim Gunn for a second, is that I believe this orange/camo look is becoming a major trend. Not that the colors don’t complement each other, but what’s up with rednecks who have to make everything 50/50? Mullets = business in the front, party in the back and now wedding dresses are following suite? Please no.

Hey, it is pretty hard to narrow down which of your 18 besties can be your bridesmaids. Why not just go with all of them? Unless of course there’s a symbolic reason she went with 18. According to Wikipedia, the number 18 can represent:
- The number of chapters into which James Joyce’s epic novel Ulysses is divided
- Russ Wheeler’s car number in the film ‘Days Of Thunder’
- In Chinese folklore, the Shaolin temple had a group of 18 bronze Monks.
From this, I’ve determined that the bride is either really into stream-of-conscious Irish prose; grew up watching ‘Days Of Thunder’ every Saturday afternoon; or a huge Wu-Tang Clan fan. Or maybe she’s all three.
