There are many jokes swirling in my head right now, but I don’t think it’d be appropriate to say any of them out loud. So let’s just go with this: Gee, what a lovely photo! The bride looks beautiful, and her groom looks smashing in that suit! What a gorgeous setting! Just look at that lake glisten!

I know I mentioned that jumping was one of the big wedding trends in ’10, but hey, let’s face it: Jumping ain’t going anywhere in 2011. It’s the kind of photo opp that doesn’t require props or a fancy setting and almost always guarantees a few funny faces. Especially when you’ve a large wedding party. And I for one embrace it! Go, jumping wedding pictures, go!
PS: The sunglasses add a “Reservoir Dogs” bad boy-ness to the groomsmen. Nice touch.

Damn. Being a bridesmaid is proving evermore to be not only a financial challenge, but a physical challenge, too. Luckily these ladies are totally down for the cause. They’re basically having a jumping dance party on the beach in their formal wear, and it actually looks fun! Nice work.

As we continue on with the trend of wedding picture jumping, I find myself drawn to the artsy side of things. Push the envelope a little! Get the wedding party to jump higher, appear smaller, and capture it all in black & white! Because it looks way more fun than some of the others I’ve seen. I especially like the guy on the left in the Van Halen guitar pose. Classic.

OK, I get it: White guys can jump after all…in khaki pants, on a hill by the lake. Jump, groomsmen, jump! Show us what you’ve got! Jump higher than those prissy girls who don’t want their boobs flying out of their dresses. You can do it!
