If you’re going to stick this on the top of your wedding cake, why even bother with the flowers on the table, or with a table at all? Just serve your guests Funyuns out of the bag with cans of Mello Yello and they can squat.

The west was tamed by men and women like these. Especially overalls and skunk-hat guy. You know I bet he killed that skunk with his bear hands that he earned from killing a bear. Then I reckon he came straight over and officiated the ceremony.

Save table space by incorporating the cake and the bar. Also, hope that pastry is load-bearing, those cans look full.

Aww, the groom’s “suit” is lighter-colored camo than the groomsmens’. How well thought-out. I’m assuming the reception dinner will be freshly killed right after the ceremony, because otherwise I see no real point in wearing all that matching gear. I mean, there’s got to be a reason for it, right? It can’t just be aesthetics? Unless of course he’s marrying this girl. Then I could understand. She seems like a fan of the look.

You know who I’m jealous of? The maid of honor. She gets to wear camo with orange accents instead of the other way around. LUCKY!!! Unless of course she accidentally put her dress on inside out, which is entirely possible.

What worries me, if I may sound like Tim Gunn for a second, is that I believe this orange/camo look is becoming a major trend. Not that the colors don’t complement each other, but what’s up with rednecks who have to make everything 50/50? Mullets = business in the front, party in the back and now wedding dresses are following suite? Please no.

Ah, so now we have an explanation for this post — I get it! I love it when things come full circle. I should have thought of it already, considering the rash of retail weddings going around these days.

To that end, don’t think of this couple marrying at Walmart as cheap or redneck; think of them as trendy. They’re ahead of the curve. Not only do they get to recite their vows in their favorite store, but they can get an eye exam, “professional” wedding portraits and a large basket of nachos on the way out. That’s not trashy — it’s just good sense!
