Ah, so now we have an explanation for this post — I get it! I love it when things come full circle. I should have thought of it already, considering the rash of retail weddings going around these days.

To that end, don’t think of this couple marrying at Walmart as cheap or redneck; think of them as trendy. They’re ahead of the curve. Not only do they get to recite their vows in their favorite store, but they can get an eye exam, “professional” wedding portraits and a large basket of nachos on the way out. That’s not trashy — it’s just good sense!

- Strangely mannish bride…
- …wearing a slip from Goodwill that has either random blue patches of fabric or incredibly low-hanging blue pockets
- This is what the best day of this couple’s life looks like. Awesome.

OK, so this is a fall wedding? Who doesn’t want to rock camo couture? It’s totally on-trend. Plus, the bride and groom are color-coordinated. They look relaxed, happy and ready to kill some animals for the dinner reception. All elements that make a good wedding.

Which one of these guys gave parental consent for this young lady to get married? The same one who told her it’s acceptable to hop on the back of a motorcycle with a dude twice her age and ride off into the sunset? *shudder* I’ve seen some young looking brides, but this one is kinda freaking me out. For goodness sake, sweetheart, what happened to your dress? Put some clothes on! And a helmet! And take an umbrella ’cause you never know when it’s going to rain!

Suddenly my grandmotherly instincts are kicking in.

He shoveled the bride right off her feet and said, “Darlin’, I want to parade you around town in my dozer and tell everyone you’re my queen.”

Then he invited his brother Eddie and Eddie’s wife Charlene to tag along since they decorated the dozer. Charlene’s got a real knack for that kinda thing.
