The bride submitter says, “I used these on my wedding cake and even went as far as inscribing ‘I Love You’ into my husband’s wedding band, and my wedding band has ‘I Know” inscribed into it.”

OK, I almost can’t handle the cuteness of all that. The cake toppers are like Star Wars Russian Dolls or something. And sure, Han Solo’s hair is a little emo…and Princess Leia looks a little like Bjork, but still the resemblance is clear. I love them! GIVE THEM TO ME!

Funny Wedding Photos - This Spells Awesome

This cake is sort of obvious, but in a good way. Scrabble is a wonderful game, and weddings are wonderful events. It only makes sense that the two come together in cake form. I don’t know if I’m fully on board with the springy letters, but I’d eat the hell out of a piece of LAUGHTER.

This beaut’ of a cake comes to Wedinator via Must Have Cute, and all I have to say is daaamn. I’m impressed! And I get the feeling those cake toppers were based on what the bride and groom were actually wearing at the wedding, which is even cooler. Bravo to whoever made this awesomeness! (I really hope it’s not another Charm City Cake. Those guys make everything.)

How did I not know about this awesomeness until now?

It was a zombie wedding, held at the first annual ZomBCon Saturday night at Seattle’s Experience Music Project. The “zombies” weren’t the actual living dead. But the ceremony was the real thing. Cult movie star and newly ordained minister Bruce Campbell officiated at what was called ‘Evil Dead’ wedding – named after the movie trilogy.

“You know that things will not always be easy in your relationship … you will occasionally find yourself stumbling on your path together unsure of what lies ahead,” Campbell told the couple, as he administered the vows.

“But there will always be one thing in your life that you can count on, one thing you will both seek out relentlessly, and one thing that will consume you both, and that one thing is – brrrains. … Ah, I’m sorry, I mean love.”

I wonder if the bride read this magazine to prepare for her wedding? :) Congrats to the newlyweds!

Funny Wedding Photos - Beatles Wedding Cake!

OK, OK so the media has been totally over-hyping the Beatles lately, what with the whole iTunes discography and the commercials and the billboards and whatnot…but this cake is pretty awesome. It was made for a “All You Need is Love” themed wedding, and I think it looks mighty delicious. Way better than an “I Am the Walrus” themed cake, but perhaps not as fun as a “Yellow Submarine.” I also love the Beatles cutouts  (the drum is actually made of Styrofoam).
