Bride Karen Bell in her own words about why she decided to make her wedding dress for her favorite soccer team, Manchester City:
We wanted to do something different because we have both been married before. It was a labour of love, I was at the sewing machine six nights a week.
She’s got The Blues as her something blue! The beautiful game lends itself to beautiful brides so well.

This pic is from my wedding five years ago. My husband and I met doing medieval re-enacting, so of course we wanted a medieval wedding. It took me seven months to make everything. I made the beaded trim for his cotehardie—all eight-and-a-half feet of it. There is another 22 inches of beaded fringe on the end of his hat. My dress has 13,000-14,000 individual beads sewn onto the brocade. I also made my jewelry and hair combs. His hat is stuffed with fur from the dog.
Wedinator leads with a toast of mead to your beads! Bravo m’lady!
