The crackerjack bakery crew at Walmart can’t be expected to get everything right. I mean, they properly spelled ‘congratulations’, did they not? Everyone knows that certain big box grocers have a policy requiring that only three out of four words get spelled correctly on cakes. The fourth word is just a throwaway. Plus, it’s cake! It’s meant to be eaten, not framed. Sheesh.

Please no white bathroom towels because the bride’s gigantic hooves tend to get very muddy after a long day in the country. Also, please don’t be alarmed if the bride nays loudly when she opens a gift that she particularly likes. It’s a compliment, really, not to mention a habit. You should have heard her the other night when the neighbors gave us a couples massage at the day spa. Her excitement could be heard for miles!

Hey, this is kinda like that time I said that the entire wedding party should have jumped in after the bride! Except way different.

There’s no good time to accidentally collapse into a body of water while wearing fancy clothes. Even if you’re with your closest friends and family, it sucks being wet in formal wear. I hope the reception had an open bar!

I hope they’re renting a laugh track for the ceremony. I don’t think I could contain my snort if I heard Pastor Jeff Brendle say, “We welcome you to the sacred union of Meredith Woody and Dr. Large.” In fact, I’m almost certain I’d be forced to yell out, “KA-CHING!! Paging Dr. Large!” A laugh track would really help to drown that reckless immaturity out.

PS: Who else wants to go as Dr. Large for Halloween this year besides me? Everyone? I thought so.

First I’d like to give a shout out to Emily Crapp, because she actually survived growing up with the shittiest last name I’ve ever heard. Cheers, Emily! Next I’d like to propose a toast to the happy couple: May the wind be at your backs, may the road rise to meet you, and may your taste buds mature to appreciate a hoppy amber IPA. I know this is the Crapp-Beer wedding but did you really have to serve Olde English 800 and Natty Light to illustrate that point??
